Routine Focus
A half or full day on site, planned around the season and your garden.
The natural next step after a Garden Reset, or a standalone plan for an established garden.

Fortnightly half day
Fortnightly full day
Seasonal is weekly from April to September and fortnightly from October to March. Fortnightly is every two weeks all year. Both include a two-week break at Christmas.
We confirm the right plan after seeing your garden. Larger gardens may need more time on site or a second gardener, which we talk through with you and quote separately.
Specialist seasonal pruning
Shrubs, roses and climbers pruned at the right time of year for flowering and shape, with climbers tied in and trained.
Fruit trees and soft fruit
Winter and summer pruning of fruit trees, training of soft fruit, and mulching and feeding to keep them healthy and cropping well.
Hedges
Shaping and trimming outside the nesting season, renovation of overgrown hedges and upkeep of boundaries.
Borders
Cutting back, deadheading, staking, dividing and renewing herbaceous plants, so borders stay full through the year.
Lawns
Mowing, strimming and edging, with seasonal renovation: scarifying, aerating and overseeding.
Paths and edges
Crisp lawn and bed edges, clear paths and patios, and spreading growth held in check.
Soil health
Soil testing and conditioning, no-dig methods, mulching and natural feeds that build a living, well-structured soil. It drains freely yet holds moisture through drought, and gives plants the best start and a natural defence against pests and diseases.
Composting
Compost bays and leaf mould run on site, so green waste goes back into the garden instead of being taken away.
Plant health
Pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies and damage caught early, with strict garden hygiene and natural deterrents where needed. Struggling plants relocated and new plants helped to establish.
Eco-sensitive weed control
Hand weeding, hoeing and mulching: non-toxic, natural methods that keep weeds down without harming soil life.
Wildlife and water
Ponds and water features kept clear, habitat and biodiversity encouraged, and water used wisely.
Seasonal tasks and upkeep
Leaf raking, blowing and general tidying, watering, refreshing pots and planters, winter protection and getting the garden ready for spring.
All work is planned and carried out by Christopher or another RHS-qualified horticulturalist, guided by permaculture principles.
