About
Christopher has a decade of professional horticultural experience - and more importantly, he knows plants. Yeo&Co. works across Totnes and the South Hams, bringing the same skill and attention to every job, whether that's a two-hour reset or a full planting design.
He trained under the Royal Horticultural Society programme at Bicton College of Agriculture - a college with a long-standing national reputation for horticultural excellence - and went on to specialise in ecological land and garden design. That breadth of knowledge shapes every garden he works in.
Yeo&Co. upholds eco-sensitive practices across all services - no carcinogens, no products linked to harming wildlife or pollinators. Good horticulture and a healthy ecosystem go hand in hand.
Our work
From estuary gardens in the South Hams to naturalistic woodland planting schemes - a selection of projects across Devon and beyond.
The difference
From a two-hour Garden Reset to a full bed design and planting project - this is what Yeo&Co. actually delivers.
How it works
No complicated quotes, no contracts for one-off work. Just a straightforward process that gets your garden sorted.
Fill in the form or give us a call. Tell us roughly what needs doing and where you are in the Totnes or South Hams area.
We'll confirm a time that suits you and be upfront about our current availability.
Christopher and a trained colleague arrive on time and get straight to it - working to the plan agreed at your complimentary visit.
We leave it tidy, take the waste away, and that's it. Invoiced and payable on completion - cash or bank transfer.

For overgrown, neglected and cluttered gardens
A specialised, focused service - two professionals working flat out for two hours, to a plan. Every Garden Reset begins with a complimentary visit to assess your garden and agree the plan of action before any work takes place. For larger or heavily overgrown gardens, a full restoration can be achieved through a series of Reset sessions, working zone by zone at the same rate.
A skilled, seasonal maintenance programme tailored to your garden's needs, priced on the size of your garden: a half or full day, weekly through the growing season and fortnightly through winter, or fortnightly all year. A natural follow-on after a Garden Reset or Garden Design & Establishment project - or a standalone programme for an established garden.
Expert planting design for beds and borders, implemented by Christopher. All projects include a complimentary site visit and consultation. Priced by planting area only. A structured payment schedule is agreed upfront. A drawn planting plan can be added - see Planning & Consultation.

Yeo&Co. has worked alongside Jack, a skilled Devon-based carpenter, for the best part of a decade. His craftsmanship is meticulous, his knowledge of outdoor timber work is exceptional, and his commitment to doing things properly is the reason we trust him with our clients' gardens. Together we take on structural garden projects - steps, decking, raised beds, sheds, pergolas, and small garden structures - with Christopher on site throughout to ensure the horticultural and aesthetic vision is realised from the ground up. Every project is quoted individually after a site visit, with materials costed separately.
Add-on services
Book these on their own, or add them to a Routine Focus plan.
Add-on service
Patios, paths and steps brought back to clean stone. Every wash starts with the surface brushed, raked and blown clear of debris. We always book it as its own visit: the spray carries dirt, algae and weed seed onto freshly tidied lawns and beds, and the stone must dry before any treatment goes on. We keep run-off out of ponds and borders, and use a gentler cleaner on softer stone.
Quoted after seeing it. Optional extras: re-sanding joints, a biodegradable, non-toxic algae treatment, and a sealant to slow regrowth. Or see Patio Refresh, our bundle with these included.
Add-on service
Meadows, orchards and long grass cut by hand, quietly and without fuel. Scything leaves wildlife time to move and cuts cleanly at the right height. Cuttings are raked off and composted on site, which keeps meadow soil low in nutrients so wildflowers do better.
Quoted after seeing it. Best in late summer, after flowers have set seed.
Add-on service
Two of us for a full day: formative and renovation pruning, deadwood and windfalls cleared, grass cut, trees mulched, and pests and diseases checked. Orchards vary a lot, so we agree the number of days after seeing yours. Regular visits through the year keep trees healthy and cropping well, and we can plan winter pruning, summer pruning and a late-summer cut with you.
In a day, two of us can prune about:
Mixed orchards fall in between. Mulch, materials and taking prunings away are quoted separately.
Pairs well with scything for long orchard grass. For up to four trees, see Fruit Tree Pruning in the bundles.
Garden Reset is a fixed £250 a session. Every garden receives a complimentary visit to confirm it's the right fit for this service.
All other prices shown are accurate guides - every project is quoted individually following a complimentary consultation visit.
